I held my very first workshop today at Makers' base a fablab in Meguro, Tokyo.
Teaching something to people was not so easy but I quite enjoyed myself.
Hope people felt fun to make by their own hands through the workshop.

I just wanted to say i love you.
typography made of dots and line with unclear feeling.
When you draw lines along random dots, then some words come out.
This is what I really want to say and what you need to say. Be honest.
"i love you"
"miss you"
"i'm sorry"
These emotional words are actually hard to deliver and always get something stuck in my throat when i really need to say in the serious situation.

The new year has already started!
Last year I just uploaded a few posts on this blog,,,shameful!

A long letter from my mind.
It's long time no post as I was in the busiest term ever in my life.
I lost my dearest father in this summer and had no motivation for my creative activity and just wanted to do nothing, nothing.. I took long holiday and flied to my second mother land England with some books which I had bought long time before but had no time to read all.
It was over three years past since graduation of my uni.
Something have changed but I still could find things which were exactly same I used to see. I met some friendly faces with still same perfect smile.
The pic is the view from my favourite place on this planet. From top of the hill, I can see whole of my favourite city and I just remembered every tiny memories.
The day I came to London at 18years old.
The day I had massive dinner with my almost family flatmates.
The day I had a tea at holborn with mate.
The day I The day I broke up with my ex.
The day I handed in the final major projects.
The day I decided to leave there.
I left from my parents when I was 18 and hadn't share much time and thoughts, that's so regrettable but I just feel massive thankful to them who gave me life and supported me to be myself.
I just thought such things on the hill.
My mother is also in the space with her love and actually I have no one to show my growth for my long life now. Honestly this is like walking in the dark way with no lights. But I should illuminate the pass by myself. I should be happy. I should make what I want to make.
Life is hard and long, but when I live as "me", my life will be more meaningful and special.
I should be main actress in my own life theatre, and you also should be.
This is what I got from final life time lesson from dad.

HELLO!WEEN
Designed a poster for the coming halloween event 'HELLO!WEEN' in MARUIKE HOUSE.
I took charge for make whole process, such layout design, making images and typography.
The image of the illustration is 'monsters come from MARUIKE HOUSE' as the house itself is really old and some says she saw a real one..

Hey I will be a bow tie maker.
Currently I'm making bow tie-like brooches.
These are unisexed products and both boys and girls can put on thier breast.
It will be super lovely a couple share one tie and sometimes it become the cause of their squabble.. 'today is my turn to put it!" "No, I will go to school with it!" How lovely.
The material is mostly scrap of cloth and this is fine eco friendly products!

最近は蝶ネクタイを作っています。
女子がつけても、男子がつけても可愛いものが作りたい。
カップルが日替わりでつけたり、取り合いしたり。なんと素敵な光景。
こちらの蝶ネクタイ（風のブローチ)、ハギレで出来ています。まさにエコ。
布と布の組み合わせやサイズがそれぞれ違い、同じものは二度と作らない、というか作れない。
いつか英国紳士が付けてるような立派蝶ネクタイを作るのが夢。
tete/new studio with a small weekend shop
I and my old friends established a new design studio "tete" in Komagome, North Tokyo.
As tete, we make 100% handmade goods from accessaries to bag and etc,.
It become a small shop on every Sunday. Our studio is located in the ex-old old apartment house named "MARUIKE HOUSE" which is lately renovated as the house of studios or small shops like ours. There are a cafe with gallery space, stationary shop, record shop and etc,.
The building is in the ordinary residence area, and at first I was just wondering who comes here... but people come. I love this fact.
Some of the shops are still under construction though, we're opening as shop from 19th June. Come and see our products!
友人と、teteという作業場を兼ねた小さな雑貨店を始めました。
お店は日曜のお昼から夕方まで、6月19日より営業開始予定。
場所は東京の北、駒込。巣鴨のお隣。なぜこんなところに、、と誰しもが思うと思いますが、なかなか駒込はいいところです。
teteが入居するMARUIKE HOUSEは元ボロアパート、現在はカフェやら文房具屋さんやらが入る集合アトリエ＋ショップのようなものです。どのお店も入居者自ら改装工事を行い、手作り感たっぷりでいいかんじです。
駒込の景勝地・六義園の帰りにでも是非寄ってみてください。
